How does SUBTEXT work?

Anyone can create a webpage using SUBTEXT. It's not very different from writing a letter. Just type the words and press SAVE!

Of course, just because it's easy doesn't mean that everyone has permission to edit your website. Only designated authors have access to the website's control panel.

Authors navigate to a secure web page, where they login with a unique username and password. Once logged in, the web browser becomes their editing tool. Authors simply go to the page they want to edit, click the "Edit this page" button and start typing. Once the changes have been made, the author clicks SAVE and… we're done!

Remember, because your web browser is the editing tool, that means authors can update the company website from anywhere. There's no software to install and your work is always available - at the office or on the road.

It must be more complicated

Of course, you're right. It can get much more complicated, but only if you ask for it.

SUBTEXT was designed to be easy for people without much computer experience. But, if you want to get fancy, we can take you there.

In addition to the basic "Content Management" aspects of SUBTEXT, you also get access to:

  • User database
  • Data transfer and transformation services
  • Web traffic reporting
  • Offer management (part of the eCommerce module)
